Pre production

The budget of the production process would be nothing due to me needing not much props or supplies that haven't already been given which makes the pricing more efficient. Time of the process would be from 27/11/15 till 9/12/15 due to the date I would start would be within the same process of creating the pre-production details. Personnel Tom Clarke, Daisy, Chris which would mostly associated with the production process which would be side characters to act out a situation or as people to interview or voice over the dialogue within providing the information.
Facilities I would need to provide for the process of production would be a laptop for editing, camera for filming use but also cue cards and photoshop for use of animation. Location college grounds such as outside bench area, classroom plus balcony and within the outdoor park and shop near by the college grounds.

Clearance I wouldn't need since most of my filming would be within college ground such as the college corridors, fields and outdoor community of Coulsdon College such as the shops, the park, the near by road connecting and surrounded by houses so that it shows that anywhere could be associated by Human Trafficking which makes the audience more interested in the topic, which would mean to act sensibly, but also within within my house if needed.

Copyright would be based within any sound effect or soundtracks that I have be placed within the copyright legislation which I would to ask for permission to access to author or owners copyrighted content. Health and safety would be while filming nothing that could effect the stance or damage the camera such as liquid aren't near by the electronic device as well as laptops phone props.

Code of practice and regulation, It is the responsibility of the broadcaster to comply with the Code. Programme makers who require further advice on applying this Code should, in the first instance, talk to those editorially responsible for the programme and to the broadcaster’s compliance and legal officers. Ofcom can offer general guidance on the interpretation of the Code. However, any such advice is given on the strict understanding that it will not affect Ofcom’s discretion to judge cases and complaints after transmission and will not affect the exercise of Ofcom’s regulatory responsibilities. Broadcasters should seek their own legal advice on any compliance issues arising. Ofcom will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on informal guidance. 1.1 Material that might seriously impair the physical, mental or moral development of people under eighteen must not be broadcast. 1.2 In the provision of services, broadcasters must take all reasonable steps to protect people under eighteen. For television services, this is in addition to their obligations resulting from the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (in particular, Article 27, see Appendix 2). 1.8 Where statutory or other legal restrictions apply preventing personal identification, broadcasters should also be particularly careful not to provide clues which may lead to the identification of those who are not yet adult (the defining age may differ in different parts of the UK) and who are, or might be, involved as a victim, witness, defendant or other perpetrator in the case of sexual offences featured in criminal, civil or family court proceedings: by reporting limited information which may be pieced together with other information available elsewhere, for example in newspaper reports (the ‘jigsaw effect’); • inadvertently, for example by describing an offence as “incest”; or in any other indirect way. (Note: Broadcasters should be aware that there may be statutory reporting restrictions that apply even if a court has not specifically made an order to that effect.) 1.9 When covering any pre-trial investigation into an alleged criminal offence in the UK, broadcasters should pay particular regard to the potentially vulnerable position of any person who is not yet adult who is involved as a witness or victim, before broadcasting their name, address, identity of school or other educational establishment, place of work, or any still or moving picture of them. Particular justification is also required for the broadcast of such material relating to the identity of any person who is not yet adult who is involved in the defence as a defendant or potential defendantI'll be using my own camera to use for filming so I would be able to freely film while having no restrictions to the amount of filming I can do within a particular week.

Key Assesment

The title for my project would be The Secrets of Trafficking to suggest that we are exploring the mysteries but also educate people about the secrets of Human Trafficking. The Film will be a balance of factual but also try to present a real life situation from one of the examples in my research file. Either the one where a girl was saved by the police within a situation where she was being used as a sex slave. The length of the film would be maximum of 29 minutes but minimum of 20 to give as much information as possible. The film completion date would be 18/12/15 and delivery deadline would be 08/01/16. The locations are Coulsdon College grounds but also the outside community, The production team would be Tom for camera work, Daisy and Chris for acting and me for producer, Director and Editor. With object such as camera, tripod, lighting, actors, space, youtube and editing software which includes laptop. The key message is to educate the community of what is under there very noses with human trafficking but also finding out how to stop the issue from being a little problem hidden to the generation and the community. The point I want to put across would be that the issue is spreading throughout the world and is corrupting the communities which people are using to hide there secrets and be more aware so they can educate others even though it doesn't even get awareness within schools. I intend to use my film for educational and brand awareness so that they apply knowledge and support to the matter after they watch the film and take action. The target audience would be mainly 15+ which would give people who gone through secondary school and hasn't been as educated as they should be of Human Traffic. The use of music is slow pace, dramatic to build up the scene but also music that present hope within the end of the story. I won't be using already used media that have already been used unless it link to building up the scenery or situation.

Assignment 3- Documentary

Proposal

What I'm trying to achieve is to produce a documentary about the research on Human trafficking around croydon which is a act of the topic being spread throughout the world. I personally feel that this matter is a very serious topic which has a lack of education and knowledge support of the matter within schools so that children and adults know how serious this situation effects everyones lives. For example within the london borough croydon is rated 3rd most effected by human trafficking. What I to do to is basically educate the people of croydon of whats happening under their noses and how they could be more aware of the topic. This would also link to the world-wide scale of human trafficking especially within South Asia within Thailand's fish industry. Within my survey's research I have learnt through questionnaires that not many people are educated within schools about human trafficking which suggest that even though it's a big issue at the moment people just don't know much or do much about the situation. Within my secondary research I found out that our borough is the third worst within the UK and organisations such as CCAT is contributing to stop human trafficking through event like walk and awareness campaign within croydon area but also use of donations. That not all, globally human trafficking is a serious problem especially within south asia such as thailand from the use of slaves within their fishing industry which outrages people within different countries since they know that this is happening. I also got some primary sources from books which contain quotes which link into human trafficking which balance out my research methods of both primary but also secondary sources. I've received more in depth research the company CCAT where it's is simplified from Croydon Community Against Human Trafficking which they attend event such as walk throughout London area, Music events but also Tv events to give as much awareness to the cause as possible however, little knowledge within the area about this cause and organisation which means it's not getting out as much as it should be if people were more educated about the issue. I've also searched a little bit deeper into some story that people have gone through and have been rescued or effected the organisation through danger and threats such as:
http://www.destinyrescue.org/us/blog/for-sale-at-16/

a story of a girl name lek who was saved by police officers at a bar where she was a child sex slave.

http://www.destinyrescue.org/us/blog/rape-murder-of-13yo-girl-devastates-rescue-team/

a story of a girl who got raped and murdered in a bar after being rescued by destiny rescue team.

Personal issues
This has effected my life by being one major and impacting piece which has displayed on my community as being one of the worst community within the issues of human trafficking which makes me and the people living in the community insecure and threatened through the dark secret of the area.

“No wonder prostitution is so rampant in China, I mused as I watched the four girls watch us: why stand on your feet all day for slave wages when you can get rich on your back?”

“I’ve been held down like a piece of meat while monsters disguised as men violated me again & again. ”

“To those who are struggling. To talk about a struggle, you're likely to forget about it. To be shown a struggle, you're likely not to forget it. But, to live through a struggle, you'll understand it.”

The global effect of this
http://thediplomat.com/2015/06/can-southeast-asia-tackle-its-human-trafficking-problem/

Over a few months their were several outburst of a international scale considering south asia's trafficking problem due to mass graves within Malaysia and Thailand and use of slaves within the seafood industry of Thailand.

Luse then framed the issue of human trafficking in Southeast Asia as being emblematic of a larger reality, where individuals – migrants, refugees and others – are bought, sold, traded or otherwise mistreated. Luse described human trafficking in Southeast Asia as an “economic whirlwind of substantial force” caused by partly by the juxtaposition of extreme poverty with new opportunities for economic exploitation opened by globalisation. It is also facilitated by corruption, disregard by many local businesses as to the background and documentation of their employees, and the power wielded by criminal syndicate leaders and masterminds who appear to have gone untouched.

For Luse, if Southeast Asia is to get serious about tackling its trafficking problem, it would need to address all the key aspects of the problem. For starters, Southeast Asian governments, Luse said, must get serious about combating corruption.
A scheme run by the charity Barnardo’s, with funding from the Home Office, has helped 20 at-risk young victims of human trafficking in Croydon over the past 12 months.

The Anti-Slavery Day Bill became law in 2010. It was introduced in Parliament
as a Private Members Bill by Anthony Steen former MP for Totnes, South
Devon, in 2010 and passed through both Houses, unopposed although
amended. The bill defines modern-day slavery as child trafficking, forced
labour, domestic servitude and trafficking for sexual exploitation.
Anti-Slavery Day falls on October 18 each year and provides an opportunity to
draw attention to the subject, raise awareness of modern slavery and to
inspire people to eliminate it.

On Saturday September 28, members of Croydon Community Against Trafficking, or CCAT, will be completing a 10-kilometre (a little more than six miles) walk chained together to raise awareness about victims of human trafficking.
